Jio Prime Membership Subscription Fee Announced, The membership fee for Jio Prime will be Rs 99 per year. Reliance Industries Chairperson and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani announced  Jio Prime membership program for existing and new Jio customers at a press conference held on February 21, 2017, on the mark of 100 million customers in 170 days.

For users who fail to sign up for the Jio Prime subscription Jio will announce standard plans that will not only match the tariff plans before March 31.


How to become a Reliance Jio Prime Member

  1. Open MyJio app and sign in with your Jio number.
  2. Now, Click on recharge option.
  3. Select Jio Prime under browse plans.
  4. Pay Rs 99/-using any payment options.
  5. You’ll become Jio Prime member until March 31, 2018.
  6. After March 31st, User need to pay Rs 303 per month for the year

Benefits of Jio Prime:

The Rs. 303 plan that Mukesh Ambani had announced, is similar to the Happy New Year offer and gives the user 1GB/Day for 28 days. You will get reduced speed if you reach your daily FUP limit of 1GB. The total 4G data limit is restricted to 28 GB for 28 days. There is no limit on number of SMSs that can be sent on this plan.

Another interesting plan is the Rs. 499 plan. It is valid for 28 days and comes with a daily FUP of 2GB and beyond that, the user will get reduced speeds. There is no limit on the total data that can be used but users will find it difficult to browse after crossing their daily FUP limit.

The company has also released “add-on vouchers” ranging from Rs 11 to Rs 301 that will provide 4G data of 0.1 GB to 10 GB. The Jio Prime plans come into effect from April 1, 2017.
