Reliance Jio Subscriptions are now live from March 1, the current Jio users on Happy New Year Pack can subscribe the Jio Prime Membership from now on. The users are given a choice of choosing varied plans which were introduced back in February.
Jio had revealed several plans and offers, at their announcement of Jio Prime to their 100 million customers . They’ve also made some hidden changes to the Terms and Conditions.

- No More Happy Hours
The hidden changes that Jio introduced will remove the Happy Hours, which was first introduced when daily fair usage limits in the form of Jio Welcome Offer are in the air. Now the Offer’s are expired and Jio is taking their oppertunity to convert the Happy Hours usage to normal usage.
The Happy Hours encourages Jio Users to download at full 4G speeds without any limit, from 2 to 5 AM every day, which were also present in the Jio Happy New Year offer that expires on March 31st, 2017. It doesn’t really mean Jio is withrawing is Happy Hours, but still you will no longer be able to download unlimited during 2 to 5 AM every day.
As per Jio.com any downloads made in this period will be considered as normal data usage and daily usual fair usage limits, if applicable.
Rs. 149 Mandatory Recharge For 12 Months
It is really unfortunate knowing about Jio Prime, if a Jio User paying Rs.99 for Prime Membership and doesn’t go foor Jio Plan will end up Jio to deactivate your Prime Subscription.
Yes, it is so like that, Reliance Jio doesn’t had clarified publicly is that you must spend a minimum of Rs. 149 per month after subscribing to Jio Prime. Without any Jio Plan, it can lead you to the deactivation of your Jio Prime subscription. Hence, You would also lose all Jio Prime benefits.
This just means that missing recharging Jio any single month, whether at the beginning, in between or at the end, can lead to the deactivation of your Prime subscription. ie. This condition will be applicable for all the 12 months of the subscription.
