Unihertz has announced Jelly, an android smartphone that they claim to be the smallest 4G smartphone in the world. The Jelly will be running on Android Nougat 7.0, the latest version of Google’s smartphone O.S. The USP of the device is nothing but its ‘portability’, as described the device come with a tiny display that is capable of fitting anywhere.
It is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1-2 GB of ram and 8-16 GB of internal storage. The 4G LTE supported device has a 2.45-inch 240×432 display, dual-SIM support and a 950 mAh battery. It is fixed with 8 MP rear camera and, a 2 MP front shooter for selfies. The smartphone is sold at $79.
The company is aiming to launch this small smartphone for casual users or to be used as a secondary smartphone at an inexpensive price tag.
